Dalia began her career in clinical research in 2010, after studying biomedical science and pharmacology at King’s College London. She has 14 years experience in clinical trial management and a Masters in Clinical Trials from The University of Edinburgh.
Dalia has worked at leading pharmaceutical companies, Clinical Research Organisations (CROs) and academic institutions, including Parexel, Quintiles, The Institute of Cancer Research London, Amgen and Allergan. Since 2016, Dalia has been in Global Clinical Trial Management in haematology oncology at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.
Cancer Journey
Dalia was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022. After completing a full spectrum of active treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, she remains on preventative treatments and is a participant of a clinical trial at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
Dalia is passionate about furthering research, patient advocacy, informed consent and increasing awareness of breast cancer in younger people.
As a patient advocate and representative, Dalia has been a speaker for charities and organisations, including Breast Cancer now, My Cancer My Choices, GCSG Clinical Trial Supplies conferences, Mindset Unlimited, and Energie Fitness Gym.


Passions
Dalia has dedicated much of her time to philanthropic and community causes, including as a Trustee for Wokingham Foodbank, and a Christmas Volunteer for the LINK visiting scheme. She has raised over £12,000 in the last year for charities and causes close to her heart.
Dalia has worked with various charities and brands over the last two years on breast cancer campaigns, including Cancer Research UK, Breast Cancer Now, Coppafeel!, Penny Brohn UK, My Cancer My Choices, Loungewear Underwear and Raishma London.
Dalia has been featured in media outlets, including the BBC, The Mail Online and HELLO magazine, for her charity fundraising and advocacy work.
Dalia is currently filming a documentary highlighting the journey of younger adults experiencing breast cancer and models for inclusive talent agency, ZBD Talent.
